Hi, I’m Robert Gorman, the creator of TransiCoin (TRC). I’m a passionate advocate for equitable urban development and believe that technology should enhance and not replace public infrastructure. This project is for my Financial Technologies and Innovations course at Rutgers University, I was tasked to create a cryptocurrency that supports and modernizes public transportation.

With daily frustration riding SEPTA and PATCO, I see TRC as a way to reward regular riders, improve funding transparency, and give transit users a direct voice in how service upgrades happen.
